Privacy notice

Last updated 28 October 2026. Draft pending review by a qualified person.

Who is responsible

The responsible party for personal information collected through this website is Keegan Goocin, a sole proprietor based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. I am also the Information Officer. Contact me on WhatsApp at +27 76 120 0631 or by email at kmgoocin@gmail.com.

What I collect

  • What you choose to send me: your name, business name, website, suburb or city, WhatsApp number, email address and message.
  • The conversation itself, when you contact me on WhatsApp or by email.
  • Analytics, only if you accept them: pages viewed and buttons clicked, through Google Analytics. Without your consent, no tracking cookies are set.

How the forms work

This site has no database. When you submit a form, it opens WhatsApp with your answers prefilled, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp yourself.

Why I use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, run the Scorecard you asked for, or prepare a quote.
  • To deliver and invoice work you have agreed to.
  • To send occasional marketing tips, only if you ticked the optional consent box. It is never pre-ticked and never a condition of getting what you asked for.

Who it is shared with

Only the services needed to run this site and reply to you: WhatsApp (Meta), my email provider (Google), the website host (Vercel) and, if you accept analytics, Google Analytics. Some of these process data outside South Africa under their own safeguards. I do not sell or rent personal information.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You may ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, object to processing, and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Opting out is as easy as opting in: reply STOP on WhatsApp or email me. UK clients and visitors have the equivalent rights under UK GDPR.

If you are unhappy with how I handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za) or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
